Acknowledgements and Thanks

I would like to thank and acknowledge all the people who made the publication of Loving your Life! possible.

This book came into existence through a collaborative and generative conversation with my beloved Fiona Soosalu and our wonderful friending, Sonia Ranger. Over a glass of champagne, as part of a process of LifeDesigning, we collectively came up with the idea of exploring various distinctions, aspects and concepts for loving our lives even more wondrously. We then enjoyed some wonderful weekends, mind-mapping and fleshing out the ideas for the project. Following on from this, I began the process of researching each exploration, and doing the behavioral modeling on and writing about each of the topics we’d come up with. Fiona and Sonia were my sounding boards and the initial readers and audience for my first drafts. I can’t thank them enough for their wonderful support, encouragement and feedback.

I’d also like to acknowledge all those in the mBIT Community who provided feedback and action research, including the core group of mBIT Coaches, Trainers and Master Trainers who helped along the way. And in particular I’d like to express my deep thanks and appreciation to Dr. Suzanne Henwood and David McCombe who provided valuable editing and suggestions on the final copy.

Of course, I’d also like to deeply thank my wonderful parents who taught me what it means to love your life and to love those you care about wondrously. Thank you, I love and appreciate you deeply and wondrously with all my heart.

I’d also like to express thanks and respect to the developers and leaders of the fields of endeavor this book is based on. Thanks to Prof. Martin Seligman for all his great work in Psychology and his most recent creation and development of the fascinating and important field of Positive Psychology. Thanks also to Dr. Albert Ellis for his magnificent work on Cognitive Psychology and Rational Emotive Behavioral Therapy. In addition, my thanks go to Dr. Richard Bandler and Dr. John Grinder, the original developers of NLP. For me, NLP continues to be one of the most powerful and insightful understandings of human process and excellence. And a special thanks to my colleague Marvin Oka, who worked with me to develop the new and exciting field of mBIT (multiple Brain Integration Techniques). Thank you.

Also, special thanks to Alyssa and Murray Finlay of Artifact Design Group for all their fantastic art and graphics design work.

Finally, my deepest love and gratitude to both my parents Carole and Arvo and to my beloved Fiona, whose support, encouragement and wisdom is evidenced throughout this project and book. Thank you. I love you all!

And thank you also to all the readers of Loving your Life!, I hope the book makes a positive difference to your life and helps you love your self and your life more fully and wondrously, filling your mind and life with strategies for success, wisdom, purpose and meaning.
